Antique military regalia on show

The Fleurieu Antiques and Collectables Group will begin its meetings for 2025 with a presentation by Lee Blair-Jenke on ‘Militaria Collecting’ on Sunday, February 9 at Carrickalinga House, Victor Harbor.

Lee has been a militaria collector and dealer for many years.

He is probably best known locally for his part in the annual re-enactment of the encounter between Flinders and Baudin at Victor Harbor.

On display will be some of the gems of Lee’s collection, including rifles and swords from the early 19th century, as well as uniforms and antique military regalia.

The meeting will begin at 2pm and afternoon tea will be available later. Visitors are welcome.

For more information, call Anne on 8552 6926.
